Grandkids loved the heart shaped waffles! September 1, 2010 craftyoldbag We loved them as well, since they were exactly like the ones we had for afternoon snacks while in Norway recently. The hotels had waffle makers in the lobbies, along with sour cream and jam, for complimentary make-your-own. We added cardamom and had perfect Norwegian waffles. Would have rated all 5 stars if the maker were a little bigger, like at least dinner plate size. But the waffles cooked fast and were nice and thin. Price was great, so overall, we're very pleased.
Uneven cooking, red/green light covers pop off August 2, 2010 D. Jabier (tri-state area) After my Hamilton Beach waffle iron died, I decided to try this one because of the cute shape of the waffles and the decent reviews. BIG MISTAKE! Every time I take the waffle iron out of the box, the covers for the red and green lights pop off. Easy enough to put them back into place, but they don't stay there.
As for the waffles, they do not cook evenly. The back part of the iron towards the hinge cooks much flatter than the front, so that your cooked waffle looks like a wedge from the side. I never had that problem with my other iron. The waffle was not crisp, nor are the grooves in the waffle sufficient for a traditional waffle. So disappointing! Should have just bought myself the same waffle iron I had for 10 years. It worked perfectly all that time and for under $30, was well worth it. Live and learn, I guess...
It's okay! July 31, 2010 Christine M Topalian For the price it works well. The waffles are not evenly colored when cooked, but it cooks quickly. Compared to my old waffle iron, this one cooks very fast. I would recommend it as an inexpensive machine. The shape of the waffles is cute, and the small size is nice. Clean up is fairly simple, just wipe off and it's clean.

Worths every penny. Buy it if you were bored of your pancakes.
nice little waffle maker April 23, 2010 Sailerbabe (Chicago, IL.) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a really nice little waffle maker. I bought it because it reminds me of my mom's. I love the heart shapes. I was a little frustrated that Amazon took 6 weeks to get it to me, but I'm glad I finally have it. Usually cheap waffle makers are either too small or not good quality, but this one is very nice.
