The pans are okay. It'll be great if the handle is thicker and easier to hold. As the handle is thin, the heat can pass to the end of the handle so that when you hold the handle, you can not use your bare hand.

Returned these fry pans because of inferior quality. This is what I wrote to Amazon: Both pans arrived warped. The 12 inch pan is not round and is warped on the right side. The 8 inch pan in not round and is warped in an oval shape.

When cooking and cleaning using manufacturer's recommendations, this product is excellent. Cleaning the pan is barely more than wiping up with a paper towel and dish soap. As someone with a weakened elbow, this is a most welcome feature.
Individual pans are better quality than sets. Buyer beware when comparing prices. June 1, 2010

Emeril Hard Anodized Nonstick Fry Pans, 8 inch (ASIN B00284B9OM, model E9200264,) 10 inch (ASIN B00284B9PG, model E9200564) and 12 inch (ASIN B00284B9Q0, model E9200764) are good quality pans with hollow-core handles. The handles are easy to grip and don't conduct heat to the bare hand.
All Clad, the parent company of the Emeril line, confirmed that the bonus sets (like 8 and 12 inch pans--ASIN B00284B9QK, model E920S264) are of lesser quality with standard handles. Promotional offers are decidedly not of the same quality as the regular line.
Another promotional offer of theirs is the 10-piece set (ASIN B00284B9KQ, model E920SA64). All Clad confirmed that the quality of this set is inferior to the hollow-core handles offered on the more expensive individual pans sold.
Since all items have the same title and product description, there isn't a way for Amazon.com to see the difference.
Buyer beware; when you purchase a set or pair at a seeming bargain price, it's because you're buying inferior quality. If you seek the hollow core handles good for gripping, spend the extra on the individual pot or pan. Leave the sets alone.

These pans are wonderful! They are made by All-Clad. And the pans are nice and heavy and heat very evenly. And the price is terrific! I love these pans.
