Does NOT WARP, Does NOT STICK September 3, 2010 James Lee (Chicago) Even at the increased price of $14, I have no regrets purchasing this pizza pan at all.
The quality of this cuisinart pizza pan is much better than anything I have found at any local stores.
With the size and number of holes in this pan, I was worried that the pan would be flimsy, flex, or warp...
However, the pan is very solid, heavy, and does not warp at all. (just don't use cold water to rinse off a hot pan)
I've had nonstick bakeware before, but the coating on this pan does its job extremely well in comparison..
I've had cheese and pizza-sauce burn on top of the pan, and it came right off.
I've only once made fresh pizza from scratch, but usually use the pan to heat up frozen pizza (I'm not that great of a cook)
about a 2 dozen uses later, the pan still looks brand-spanking new... no scratches, no discoloration, nada...
The size and quantity of holes on this pan also allows the crust to get crispier than other brands, which have smaller, more widely spaced holes.
Best pizza pan on the market! September 1, 2010 Hipmom14 Looked EVERYWHERE and finally found it on AMAZON. It is the ONLY pan with the larger holes, which allow the crust to crisp up like the pizza I grew up eating in NYC.
Better than I thought August 8, 2010 Lynn Johnson (WILMINGTON, VT, US) I purchased these pans for my son-in-law who is an avid pizza maker. Before giving him the pans, he used cheap pizza pans where the dough fell through the holes in the pan while cooking, which created a big problem when trying to serve each slice.
Well, my S-I-L received these pans and they cook the pizza to perfection! As my S-I-L says, "It's the first time we've had a crispy, thoroughly cooked pizza that slides off the pan!
great product July 18, 2010 JaneAZ (arizona) I have two of these pans and I am always impressed with them when I use them. They are heavy and substantial, so a thick pizza full of toppings doesn't cause them to bend when you are lifting them out of the oven.
I would recommend them for "crisping" frozen pizzas. If you are making homemade or fresh pizza dough, the holes may be a bit large for this application (although I have successfully done so). We have also used them to cook tater tots and french fries and they work well for that as the holes allow air to circulate around the items and they crisp nicely.
Good quality product that should last for years. I also cut pizza on the pans -- when I do so I always think -- crap, bet that just cut the finish -- but I have no signs of cut marks. I have been using these pans for 8 months now,
Cuisinart Pizza Pan June 29, 2010 Waikiki (KY) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This pan does a great job of making my pizza crust crispy! I typically use a frozen pizza and throw it on there, and it comes out great!
My only issue is that the pan is not very non-stick for me. As soon as I get it out of the oven the crust is stuck to the pan in some spots. I have to tear up some edges just to get the pizza off. And washing it is then a pain in the rear. The baked-on crust just won't come off, and I have to pick and pick. I can't soak it in the sink either - it's too large to fit, and I'd be afraid it would rust.
I still use it, but I first spray it down with Pam.
I like it - and the majority of it doesn't stick. But those spots that do make it very frustrating.
