This pan was second only to the All Clad Stainless Steel omelette pan as reviewed by Cooks Magazine. It's well built and lives up to the Calphalon reputation. It's been used primarily for eggs and reheating leftowvers. It won't create much fond but it is a great alternative for the SS impaired (not me but you can do the math).

This has been one of my best cooking purchases ever. I love the size, even heating, and all round usefulness of this pan.

I have only owned it for 6 weeks, so I can't address long term qualities. It is a fairly heavy pan. The balance is good (ie the handle weight doesn't make it unsteady on the burner like one fry pan I have). The non-stick surface has worked well so far. The lid fits tight. I like the lid being glass. Someone complained the lid doesn't have a vent. I prefer no vent unless its closable. I can set the lid off center if I want it venting. The pan won't make you a good cook, but if you have some skills, it will help you achieve your goal. Compared to other non-stick pans I have used, I consider it to be decent quality. At the price, its a bargain. I sought it out after reading a cooking website review. Oh, last point. Unlike my cast iron skillet which I still continue to use faithfully, the pan's handle and lid's handle remain quite cool while in use. Very good design. Happy cooking!

We have found this to be what we wanted. Mainly we brown
the food and then we place it in the oven to cook with the lid on it. It does very well. We are satisfied with it and would buy another. We bought this from Amazon .com and are very satisfied with the service. They are fast and fair.

This is a very nice pan, it cooks very well, with no sticking. Would have given 5 stars but it scratches so easy and I use nothing but plastic or wooden utensils.
